Getting Speed less than 100 KBPS? Here is the Solution.

Friends are you getting speed less than 100 KBPS even after the correct settings? So you must read this once. Many people have this common problem that they get lowest speed in the DC where we suppose to get the LAN speed that is in Mega Bytes per second (MBPS). Normal HomeNet DC speed is 2 to 7 MBPS. So you must get it right.

Don't take tension. There is a solution for this. You just have to tweak some net settings and you are done. Very simple. Just follow the steps below and get the maximum speed.

PROCEDURE TO GET HIGH SPEED:

  • First just close your DC and other online application which is running.
  • Then right click on My Computer and then click Properties.
  • After that you will get windows properties page.
  • In that page click on Device Manager which will be on top left corner.
  • In that find "Network Adapters".
  • Just expand it. You will see your adapter there. Just again Right click on that and hit properties.
  • A properties Dialogue box will appear.
  • Then click on "Advanced" tab.

  • In that Click on "Media Type".
  • If "Media Type" is not there search for "Speed and Duplex".
  • Click on that. And Change the value to "100 MB Full Duplex".

  • After this setting Click "OK".
  • Your Internet Connection will be disconnected. Don't worry just connect again.
  • After connecting open your DC client, get a file to download and see the magic.
Isn't it simple?

    1. This is because they must be serving many people at one time. Download speed depends upon the number of downloaders.
